Orange Glazed Cornish Hens

1. Preheat oven to 400F. Pat dry cornish hens and clean inside and generously sprinkle dry seasonings (1 tsp ginger, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp pepper, 1 tbsp onion powder) in and outside of hens. Set aside.
2. In a sauce pan, pour ingredients for glaze sauce except for cornstarch and water and stir until well combined on medium heat. Once cranberries pop/burst, lower heat to medium low. Mix water and corn starch together and pour into sauce pan.
3. Slice the onion into rings and place them at the bottom of an oven dish. Place cornish hens on onions and brush with glaze sauce.
4. Roast uncovered in oven for 25 mins. Take hens out of oven. Brush again with glaze and roast for another 25 minutes. If the cornish hens are browned before inside is done cooking, cover them with foil while baking until inside cooks thoroughly.
